I'm not even sure where to start! I met Kris back in the spring looking for a new trainer after being ghosted by my last one. For context, I have a rare and painful genetic condition that is very hard to manage myself, let alone trainers. Kris came in unbothered by any potential burden and had the best attitude. He is hilarious, kind and easy to talk to. He's motivating in a way that feels authentic and, in my opinion, his best quality is his empathy. You don't get that from a lot of trainers. He's never telling me to push past the pain or to work out when when something is off. He takes everything I've told him into consideration and our collaboration has made our workouts 10x better as I've been dealing with this for nearly a decade. Because I have constant injuries and issues, there are long periods of time where I'm out of commission to be able to exercise and that would turn trainers off, but not Kris. It's actually increased his motivation to help me. He's been calling and checking in since May to just see how I'm feeling and give words of support. He puts a lot of thought into his programs and genuinely only cares about helping people in physically tough situations. It's admirable. I'm currently on one of my hiatuses now and just got off a call from him checking in. As long as he wants it, he will have my loyalty. I was nervous about finding a personal trainer and read a number of reviews of different people ahead of my selection. Kristoff's reviews seemed pretty good, almost too good to be true but as they were the best of the bunch I took a chance and I'm so glad I did - he's intense while super considerate to a first-timer; keeps you pumped and motivated but only pushes you as far as you are capable. Kristoff is a really good fitness trainer. Not only is he professional and methodical, but he can also make training fun. We often share with each other the interesting things in our life, share the delicious restaurants and talk about the things in our hometown. He often asks me to teach him Chinese. Hi, I'm Kristoff, I've been an ACE certified personal trainer for 8 years with specializations in joint pain management, functional strength, and weight management.

I have helped many busy professionals reduce and sometimes even resolve joint pain issues such as ankle pain, knee pain, low back pain, & shoulder pain. I have also helped multiple clients lose 40+ pounds.

My philosophy as a trainer is to educate my clients on what, how, and why we do certain exercises so you can keep what you gain from our training session for a lifetime.

I also try to keep my sessions light hearted and fun because I know many of my clients don't think exercise is the most enjoyable part of their day.

But MOST importantly, I always ensure to go at my clients pace and on what they are looking for more than my own personal goals for them.

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve the greater Baltimore area. More specifically, we serve Owings Mills, Pikesville, Towson, and downtown Baltimore.. If you're outside these areas, online training may be an option.

Do you offer virtual or online sessions?

Yes! We offer online personal training for clients who prefer remote sessions or live outside our service area.

What are your COVID-19 or hygiene protocols?

We follow all recommended health guidelines, including equipment sanitization, hand hygiene, and social distancing as needed. Please ask about current protocols.

What if I have a medical condition or injury?

We work with many clients who have pre-existing conditions or are recovering from injuries. We’ll adapt workouts to your needs and may coordinate with your healthcare provider if needed.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.

Do you train couples or small groups?

Yes, we offer partner and small group training options at a discounted rate per person.

What qualifications do your trainers have?

All trainers are certified through nationally recognized organizations (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM) and have CPR/First Aid certification. Some also hold specialties in nutrition, corrective exercise, and more.

What should I wear or prepare before a session?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and have a water bottle nearby. Your trainer will guide you through any other prep before your first session.
